Had an amazing time with my friends. The place was a great base to explore the calm waters of the Exe and the charming village nearby. We visited local shops and enjoyed outdoor activities. The atmosphere was so welcoming, and the rooms were comfortable. Perfect for a chilled getaway!
We had some issues with the WiFi, which was frustrating as it took a while to get sorted out. Would have liked better access to streaming services in the common areas.

Historic charm, Unique courtyard seating, Proximity to local attractions
The noise disturbances are unbearable!!! Events and foot traffic kept me awake. Plus, the lack of dedicated parking is a hassle. I spent far too long searching for a spot!!!

Charming stay with character
We visited for a few days with friends, and honestly, the atmosphere was amazing, especially the friendly staff. The shower was one of the best we’ve used, and our room had everything we needed. The only thing I noticed was some dust on the bedside tables, but it didn’t ruin our time. Loved the cozy bar area too!

we stayed in a lovely two-bedroom apartment at the globe. it was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a nice dining area and a cozy lounge. the location is ideal, providing easy access to the nearby hospital without the hustle of city life. having a pub right downstairs was very handy, too.
morning noise from the kitchen around 7:30 was a bit disruptive.
